Basic System Description
  • MoonBeam Lights are 12-Volt DC, LED lighting units, originally designed for the Pop-Up Camper.  They are an excellent alternative to the standard, bright and glaring incandescent bulbs found in most pop-ups and Recreational Vehicles.
  • We have discovered many new applications for MoonBeam Lights and Gooseneck Lamps; including Recreational Vehicles, Trucks/Haulers, Tent Campers, Boats, Airplanes, and Emergency Lighting.
  • Each unit is custom, made-to-order.  With many options available, you choose the colors and accessories that best fit your needs. [ White, Red, Green, Blue, Amber ]
  • Each Moon Beam system consists of four LED Modules of your choice.   
  • Each LED Module consists of 6 LEDs, encased in a black annodized aluminum housing.  There is a total of 24 LED’s per Unit   
  • Each LED Module is controlled by a dedicated Rocker Switch.  Therefore, you can choose to have one, two, three, or all four modules ON at the same time.
  • A fifth Rocker Switch controls the Aux Power Output jack; for connecting accessory Reading Lamps.
MoonBeam Lights Advantages
  • The LED Modules generate very little heat and no infrared light.  Therefore, bugs are not attracted as with incandescent bulbs.  
  • LED lighting preserves your Night Vision with a soft “Full Moonlight” illumination.
  • The pure color of LED lights provides much better visibility and clarity in the Camping Environment than incandescent lights.
  • With proper care, LED Modules never require replacement. The life expectancy of these High Intensity LEDs is over 100,000 hours, or over 11 years of continuous use, or more than 22 years of normal daily use.
  • The extremely low power consumption makes these LED units ideal for battery power, solar power and especially Dry Camping (i.e. camping without 120VAC Power) 
  • There are many more campsites in the USA without AC Power than campsites with AC Power.
  • The fee for campsites without AC power is always less expensive and often have better views.
