Installation
and use of the MoonBeam Light is extremely simple.
1.
The system is installed by mounting the unit, in your preferred location, using
Velcro and connecting the unit to your camper’s power connector. An additional
cable adapter is required for campers not using the standard ¼” Phone
Connector.
2.
The system is controlled using simple ON/OFF rocker switches.
Each switch controls one LED Module.
3.
A
fifth Rocker Switch controls the Aux Power Output jack; for connecting
accessory Reading Lamps
4.
The system unit can be easily removed from the Swivel Mounting Bracket and
moved to alternate locations. Please note the Velcro pads are pre-installed on
both the system unit and swivel bracket to allow for mounting flexibility.
CAUTION
Before installing and using your MoonBeam Light, please note
the following:
-
Do
Not Twist the LED Assembly, individual modules or the Gooseneck (if
applicable).
Bend LED Goosenecks to the angle desired. Damage to the LED Assembly can result
from Twisting.
-
The
MoonBeam Light unit is not Water Proof.
Avoid exposing the unit to rain or excessive moisture. Reading Lamps are Water
Resistant allowing for limited use outside your camper.
(Our advanced Canopy Lighting System is Water Proof and designed for Outdoor
Use)
-
Please
ensure that your vehicle's DC Power Supply/
Battery
never exceeds 14 volts. Excess voltages over 15VDC can damage the LED Modules
and shorten their lifetime.
Velcro Installation Tips
1. Clean the mounting area with Alcohol prior to installing
the Velcro.
2. It is not necessary to use the full 2 x 6 “fuzzy” Velcro for installation.
Using smaller 1” wide strips will allow you to remove the MoonBeam light from
the ceiling more easily.
3.
Velcro is your friend! It is used
onboard the Space Shuttle and ISS, and works just as well inside a Pop-up
Camper, Recreational Vehicle and Trucks.
4.
You should install Velcro in several locations and then move the
MoonBeam Light to the best location for the task at hand.
